New Executive Director
On November 1st, Dr. Bob Harman became Greater Piedmont Teen Challenge’s new Executive Director replacing Rev. Dennis Kyseth, who has served faithfully as the Executive Director for the past 20 years, and is now retiring to the Charlotte area. Under Dennis’ leadership many men’s lives, homes and families have been restored. Dennis began the Marriage and Restoration Program, which has helped to reunite hundreds of families. Dr. Bob plans to build on this great foundation.
Bob has served as the Executive Director of three other Teen Challenge Centers. Dr. Bob and his family moved to Greensboro in 1993 where Dr. Harman served as an associate pastor at The Cathedral of His Glory for ten years. Eight years ago Dr. Harman began a non-profit ministry called Mercy Mission Teams. Mercy Missions takes teams into developing countries providing medical relief, doing evangelism work and sharing the love of Christ.
When asked by the Board of Directors to become the Executive Director for Greater Piedmont Teen Challenge, Dr. Harman knew in his heart God was opening this door for him to be part of what God is doing right here in Greensboro.
Bob is married, has two adult children and two wonderful grandsons.
Bob looks forward to meeting all those who so faithfully partner with Greater Piedmont Teen Challenge. If you are in our neighborhood stop by and introduce yourself. He would love getting to know you.
Dr. Bob Harman and Rev. Dennis Kyseth, changing of the guard.
