A New Way of Celebrating Christmas!

Christmas will be so much different this year for the men in this photo. Daily, I see men’s lives changed by the power of Christ. It reminds me of the Prodigal Son, from Luke 15:11-32. A story about a young man who left home to “sows his wild oats.” He left feeling on top of the world, with his inheritance in his pocket, and a fun life ahead of him. However, he received a rude awakening. The enemy still loves to lure young people with promises of a life of fun. However, that lifestyle never goes as planned. October 2021 Newsletter

My name is Aaron Landin and I am 32 years old. I was born in Redlands, CA. When I was two years old, my mom brought me to Asheboro, NC. That’s where I was raised. On Sundays we attended a southern Baptist Church that preached fire and brimstone. So, at a young age, I had the fear of the Lord in my heart, but no clue about God’s grace. From an early age I was rebellious and by age 15, I was already using and selling drugs. I fell in love with money and social acceptance, which led me to fighting, jail, and ultimately hurting my family.
